My grandmother passed away in 1995 and gave all her property and possesions to my mother, who signed a quitclaim deed to me, giving me the property in 2001. My uncle who doesn't live in the house but has a bedroom under lock and key, is trying to take items and furniture from my house saying that he bought it for his mom(Before she died). He also say's that he want's a written notice to have his things removed from the room and if we go into his room he will press charges againts me.When my mother gave me the home isn't everything on the property mine? What can I do legally to fight his claim?
