What is the name of your state? Texas

I just financed a used car from an Acura dealership on Dec 29th, and signed a loan with my dad as the co-borrower. When I was at the dealership they told me I was financed with American Honda Finance Corp., but now apparently I'm with Capital One.

The problem is the way I signed the paper work I should have been the main borrower, however Capital One listed me as the Co-Borrower. When I asked if it was possible to change they told me I would have to refinance. I've called the dealer and are waiting for them to call back, but was what Capital One told me true? What are my options?

Thank you,

Brian
