We live in Iowa.I have a very good friend that has just been charged with this hidious crime by his grand daughter. He was put in jail and everything for this. the problems are: 1 I know he wouldn't do this and 2 The grand daughter is a habitual liar. She is in a group home and want attention. She lied about being raped, she lied about getting threating letter (she wrote them to herself). We have documented proof of these things. Now she is lying about this but my friend has been charged with this crime. None of her or should I say their family believes it happened, but he is still charged with this. What can we do? Are there any cases on point that can help us with this situation to prove that she is just lying about this to get the attention that she is crying out for?
