What is the name of your state? Texas
Last year my daughter died intestate.
Her father and I were named co-executors of her estate and received all proceeds from her estate due to the laws of descent and distribution in Texas.
Due to a personal circumstance, I would like to renunciate or decline my executorship and any further dealings in the matter of the estate.
How can I do this?
Can I just type/sign a statement of renunciation and file it with the county clerk? Do I have to go back to Court? (I'm trying to avoid this!).
Your thoughts/advice on how to accomplish this as quickly and easily as possible.
Thank you!
