Son in trouble

What is the name of your state? Virginia
I was wondering how much trouble will my son be
in for possession of alcohol under the ageof 18and is it legal
to give him a breathalyzer test without the parents there.
Sincerely wondering.

Hard to tell since you have not told us exactly what he has been charged with. Most states will suspend their drivers license. Get him an attorney to mitigate the damage. It is legal to give him the test.

Yes they can give him a breathalyzer and yes he can get his license suspended. As a parent, I'd think you'd be wishing they'd give him more. I would be. Well.... he would be. From me.
