While I was away on business, my wife received a call from the Cancer Fund. Since my wife is very low key she did not stop them in their long speech. They kept pressuring her to send a donation so she said that she would not donate until she spoke with me but agreed to let them send a card. She was then transferred over to another department and has no idea what the other person said because they spoke so fast.
We got the donation card and are not donating but they keep calling our house 3 or 4 times a day. I have told them to not call anymore and they tell me that they will continue to call.
What are my rights here and are we obligated to pay them any donation?
