From what I have read and research, any post made in a forum is copyrighted material belonging to the author. And if it is copied and pasted to another forum without permission, then a copyright infringement has occurred. Am I looking at this the right way or am I wrong about this?

Now let's set up a scenario that plays out like this:
Poster Z posts in Forum A. Forum A has a policy that is stated at the bottom of the forum page:

Do not copy with permission from Forum A

Someone from Forum B takes Poster Z's post and copies it and posts it in Forum B without permission from anyone. Who owns the copyright? Poster Z or Forum A?

Thanks

Jeani
