Probate

What is the name of your state? WV
After probate was closed, a monetary medical malpractice settlement was received. Can the settlement be dispursed in the same manner as the formerly probated will, or must the probate be re-opened and go through the same probate process again? I understand that the settlement proceeds must be dispersed according to the will?
