Married in California - Resided in California - Registared Voter of California (Domicle Residency) - Employed in California - No Will, No Living Trust, No documented record of wishes made known at time of death - No divorce - No separation between husband & wife - Nothing to reflect otherwise - Am I the sole-beneficiary of Husband's estate, to the extent if there is any, and what law reveals this information about surviving spouse-widow, sole heir as being passed through as long as living, and what rights to protect this if found as factual?

A surviving spouse is an heir at law of the deceased spouse in California. What percentage of the estate the survivor receives depends on whether there were any children, or surviving parents/grandparents, siblings, and if the deceased's property was community property or separate property.

Check out the state law section on right side and look for intestate succession under California for more details.
