What is the name of your state? Texas
I'm the pro se plaintiff in a small claims case against a defendant in Texas. The defendant has an attorney.
A friend of mine who works in a law office in another state suggested that I see if Texas permits "statutory attorney fees" and if so, if it applies to pro se plaintiffs.
I've tried a variety of search terms on Google and on the search function on the Legal Advice forum, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.
Thanks!
Sorry about the double-post, double-thread, folks. *blush* I realized as I hit "submit" that I'd mis-spelled "statutory" in the thread title...and I can't seem to edit the title in "edit" mode.
