What is the name of your state? Georgia.

My mother and I are co-executors of my Fathers estate which is in probate. There is a parcel of real estate in question. The deed to this property is in my fathers name. Can we as executors of the estate, sell the property without first, transfering the deed to our names? The will states that we, as co-executors have the authority sell any or all of my father's property, with the exception of any specific items that is willed to an individual. There are 5 heirs to this estate and the proceeds will be divided equally.

Thanks for your educated responses.
