What is the name of your state? Michigan

Ok say someone is being accused of stealing things from someones home and the accused person signs a confession, is that enough to charge them or do they sometimes need other evidence?? because this person admited to it but the charge is pending and its been pending for a while**************.

A signed confession is the very best kind of evidence.

Well the person was being questioned by the detectives and it was all the way up till 4:00am that they were interrigating this person so they finally confessed and signed the confession to shut them up.

They finally confessed to shut them up? Do you see issues with this confession? Based on what little you stated, more investigation is needed.
