What is the name of your state? Virginia (Loudoun County)
I and four friends paid International Sports & Exchange Academy $6,300 last year for a week long sports vacation in Germany. A few weeks before the scheduled departure the trip was canceled by ISAE. Over the last 4 months we have sent numerous e-mails and made dozens of phone calls, leaving messages, all to no avail. We have had no reply to anything. We would like to sue for a refund in the small claims court but are unsure of how to proceed and if indeed $6,300 is too large for this court. Any help is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Limit is $5,000.00
Did you pay $6,300 EACH, or TOTAL?

We paid $6,300 in total. So if we cannot make a claim in the small claims court, we would need to hire a lawyer to sue, correct? Or maybe we should lower our claim to $5,000 and stay in the small claims court, or even claim individually.
Thanks

$6,300 divided by 5 is $1,260.00.
It seems to me that 5 people have a claim against the company for $1,260.00 each ;)
