I live in Iowa and was involved in a comp related accident in 1988. The rates for the claim were figured on 1988 wages. There were multiple injuries, some were treated, some were not. Now, after 13 years, the injuies that weren't treated (2 cervical discs) were removed. My employer has agreed that the discs were related to the original injury and is covering the claim with workers comp. The problem is they are paying temporary benefits at the 1988 rate. I have had an increase in pay well over 25% and can't find workers comp laws that address this. Is there a link or can someone direct me to a file that I can print for proof?
