What is the name of your state? Connecticut

My mother has taken ill and the house and mortgage are in my mother's name. She wants it to pass on to my father with no tax consequences. The mortgage company would not allow her to put him on the mortgage without re-financing (they have too good a rate to consider this). Thier combined estate is worth under $1 million. Do I need to put my father on the deed? If so, I am an Attorney but not licenced in Ct., can I do it anyway? Otherwise, is there something they can do to make the property owned as joint tenents or joint tenants with right of survivorship? Please advise. What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

Counselor, if this stuff is worth a million dollars, then ma needs to see a very good estate attorney in Connecticut.

(And the answer to your question is: "Google connecticut unauthorized practice law.")
