Wisconsin
From what I understand the statute of limitations is two years for an oral agreement and six years for a contract for me to take someone to small claims court in Wisconsin.
I loaned money to an individual three years ago and had him sign a contract for this loan just six months ago (which is due this month). Does that fact the money was loaned three years ago count against the six year statute of limitations ?
When does the six year statute of limitations start? When I lent him the money (three years ago) or when the contract is due.
