My husband and I own an aquarium maintenance company. It is basically like a lawn maintenance service or house cleaning service. We have a client who was 6 invoices past due (3 months since we serviced the tank every 2 weeks). After calling and calling and getting no where the President called and said they had another company come out and do the maintenance and they feel like we did not do a good job, so they are not paying us. They never cancelled service nor were we aware of an dissatisfaction until that point. Even thought after racking up 6 invoices, can they not pay once they got a second opinion (saying that they actually did)?
