If I terminate my right and allow my ex-wife's new husband to adopt my son, am I still responsible for back and current child support obligations?

Thank you.

You will be responsible for support until the effective date of the termination. If there is no money owing to the State for repayment of welfare or any other public benefits, then your exwife may be able to waive the arrearages, however, she is not obligated to do so.
