i already file my 2000 tax return. i forgot my husband and i had another w2. it was in after i sent it off. do i have to re-file or just dont worry about these w2s? i think it might make us have to pay if i file with these w2s.

Don't worry, be happy.

Seriously though...

You'll have to file an amended return and pay what you owe, if that is the case. The IRS will notice the missing W-2 and then you'll not only owe the additional tax but also penalties and interest. You don't want to go there.

Yes you need to file an amended 1040 return.
You need to worry because the IRS has a copy of your W-2's. Your extra income is already in the IRS computer database. I just saw it yesterday.
