What is the name of your state? PA -- Pittsburgh.

Can the spouses of pro-se defendants normally speak on their behalf during hearings?

What's the appropriate statute or case law?

I checked Federal Rules, PA Rules, Local rules.

I see only "Defend yourself, or through an attorney." Does this mean that the spouse cannot contribute to their (oral) defense at all?

Thanks

The spouse can do the representation if she is admitted to practice law in the appropriate state...
