I am being sued by an attorney for lgal fees. I retained a attorney for my divorce, she went to an expert attorney to execute a QDRO which was done and court forced a consent which my ex huband appealed to the court of special appeals...all fees for the quadro were paid through my divorce attorney. The specialist defended the appeal...i signed no contract for the defense and never received any communication from the attorney...I have now found that the appeal was upheld (I won) but the attorney who did the appeal is suing me for $10,0000 for legal fees of which I had no idea I was incurring what do I do ?
