I am having second thoughts about the attorney I have retained to represent me in my first and only divorce. I have given his firm a 5,000.00 retainer fee. Does all of it go to him if I change attorneys?

Unless you have a really odd agreement, he is entitled to only the amount which has already been spent. The remainder would be returned to you. Check your retainer document.
