I own(ed) a home with someone who passed away who was not my spouse. The house transferred directly to me, but I am unsure who the belongings in the house belong to. There isn't really anything of significant value, his kids took vehicles (which were only in his name) and such off the property and now want to come into the house to take the belongings inside. What are my rights with the house (most items were purchased jointly) and personal property inside?
