What is the name of your state?
Florida.
My parents are quite elderly and my brother and I are concerned about one of them having to be in a nursing home for a protracted period of time which would deplete their savings.
I am disabled and receive adult disability from the Social Security administration. Can they gift me a portion of their savings so that they would qualify for Medicaid? I understand that this would be called a "Special Needs Trust".

<sarcasm> So you don't want your parents' savings depleted caring for themselves, but it's just dandy to deplete those savings for your benefit? Sure, taxpayers rejoice at the chance to support your parents sooner rather than later. </sarcasm>

I don't see where "Special Needs Trust" gets a pass for Medicaid fraud.
