I have been with my significant other for 14 years and we signed common law forms and had them notorized in Colorado. We have property in his name that we have lived at since 1999, it is almost paid off. He put 25,000 down and we have split everything (all bills including mortgage) down the middle. He recently moved out and wants me to do the same. Should I tell him to buy me out? Do I have any rights? Also it will be paid off next year.
