Under what conditions can I discontinue a automobile lease? I reside in Wisconsin.

My response:

Like any contract, a lease may be broken when:

1. One of the parties is incompetent (under age);

2. Actual fraud;

3. Breach of contract by the dealership;

4. Failure of consideration;

5. No "meeting of the minds";

6. etc., etc., etc.


Buyer's remorse is not a ground for breaking such a contract.
