What is the name of your state? California

The collection agency I am suing has requested that the case be removed to federal court. I would like to keep it in small claims so that they may not utilize an attorney. How do I do this? What forms do I have to file?

Did they give a reason (statute) as to why a small claims court case can be removed to federal court? There are other questions which follow, so rather than giving up what you want, why don't you post a quick summary of the facts and their reasons why they want to remove.
