What is the name of your state? Michigan, Oakland County

I failed to show up for court today, I thought it was this friday not today. I called, they made a default judgement, what are my options.

Plaintiff: Claims monies owed, no written agreement

I was going to go to fight this, now what can I do?

You can appeal the decision and show that you have a merit based defense. The system does not like default judgments, so they often may be overturned and remanded for trial with good cause.
