My husband was adopted by his stepfather. Now 40 something years later doing some research we have discovered that some dates are not meshing. Neither mom, stepdad or biological dad dates coincide and none is willing to budge on their recollection of events. Is it possible that not only his name was changed but his actual birthdate. He was born in South Dakota and adopted in Minnesota.
