What is the name of your state? south dakota

what happens when an attorney request that the court permit their law firm to withdraw from representing an estate? who takes care of the estate after that? does the court appoint someone/another firm? or is it the family's responsibility to deal with?

Attorney can quit anytime, just like you can fire a attorney any time. It is the family who has to hire the new lawyer. This was in my contract that I signed, only wrote out more professional, by attorney.
