What is the name of your state? NJ

HELP! I received a civil action summons - I am being sued. It says I have 35 days to respond or file a motion. Is that 35 days including weekends, or 35 business days?

I've retained an attorney, but have not heard back from her since our initial meeting (a couple of weeks ago.)

What happens if I miss the 35 day cut off? Does that mean an immediate default judgement on me - guilty or not?
