My parents died last year and I am the executer of the estate. A notice to creditors was posted in the newspaper as required with the date of any claims to be submitted by last November. I have now received a bill from a medical expense of two years ago. The estate is still open. Am I still obligated to pay the bill after the date stated in the notice to creditors?What is the name of your state?
