I am in the Dallas TX area and ordered furniture in October with a six to eight week delivery schedule and a 50% downpayment. The company has not produced the furniture for a variety of excuses and now has begun liquidating the business. They refuse to refund my money ($2330), deliver the furniture or make any other restitution. Although they are still officially in operation, I am sure they are heading towards bankruptcy? Is there any legal course of action I can take before they disappear with my money?
