What is the name of your state? Iowa
I live in Iowa the person that owes me money has a residence in Kansas. The Statute of limitations for Kansas is 5 years. The statute of limitations for Iowa is 10 years for a written agreement. This agreement for repayment has exceeded the 5 year limit for Kansas, however it has not exceeded the 10 year limit for Iowa. Obtainable assests are found in Iowa. Should and can this be filed for a small claims in his state or should this be filed in small claims in my state?
