ca. rental/tenants may possess illegal substance

In California, if a tenant in your home is suspect (to the owner) to be involved with possible illegal substance and is arrested on the property you own with that substance can the landlord loose their home as a result?

Quite possibly under Federal forfeiture laws.

OHIO, what if the lease agreement clearly states that no illegal activity will be condoned or tolerated? if the landlord has no prior knowledge of the tenants activities and the tenant gets caught on the leased property posessing illegal drugs then is the landlord still punished for someone elses actions?
