:cool:What is the name of your state?California

If one were to sue another for failure to make payments on a credit card (care credit) and one were to win, how can you collect if they don't work? They are receiving money from the govt. for disability. Their refusing to pay anything is destroying the other persons credit. The amount is under $5,000 so isn't there a way to force min. payments even though she's on disability?

SSI can not be garnished .

SSA can be , but only under situations , and Failure to make payments on a CC is not one of them .

SSA.GOV , disability , garnishment .

The problem is my friend allowed someone to use her care credit card by allowing her to add her name to the card. Now after fees and late charges about $2,500 is owed and credit has been ruined, does she have no recourse?

:rolleyes:Okay fine, you have a point, but what about utilizing the t.v. court shows? The writing at the end goes a bit quickly, but don't people get monetary compensation for being on the show? Also, I know for a fact that the offending party has income that is not being reported...
