I am in desperate need of help! Things in my marriage have gotten so bad that the only thing left to do is to get a divorce. My wife and I have only been married for 14 months and there are no children. We live together in an appartment that is in my name only and all services such as electric, water, cable, etc are in my name only as well. I told my wife that I wanted a divorce and she told me that if I file that she will not sign the papers. She also refuses to move out of the apartment so I have been forced to move out and stay at my parents. She has told me that I will regret leaving her and has thrown many of my personal beongings like my clothes, pictures, books, etc. over the balcony like in a bad movie and who knows what has happened to those items. It is very important to note that everything in that apartment with the exception of her clothes, makeup and a few personal items are mine and were mine before we ever married. It is also important to note that our only car is also mine and was bought and paid for before her and I ever married as well. My wife does not work so I have been the sole provider for both of us.


Please tell me what can I do to keep her from destroying or throwing out everything in this world that I own> I would also like to know short of calling the police how can I get my wife out of the apartment so that I can try and get on with my life?


I am desperate and do not know where to turn for help!

Here are a few more facts that I know make my case a little sticky and I know will make me look bad, stupid and maybe criminal.

My wife does not work and has not worked since the day we were married. Now yes I did ask her not to work and yes I have been very stern on that part. Why you may ask, simple, when I met my wife she was an escort and yes I used her services. Despite this fact I fell in love with her and wanted a life with her. You can understand why I didn't want her to work! You are probable saying then she could have gotten a legal job, well not really. My wife is also a drug addict and I knew this prier to getting married. I was in love with her and wanted to give her a better life. I was hopeful that she would get clean and be able to live in society and hold down a job like most everyone else. She addiction has not gotten better it has only gotten worse, if she goes more than a day without her needed drug then she gets very sick. I am a person that has never used an illegal drug in my life and plan to never do so in the future. I cared for my wife so yes I would give her money for her drugs and yes I would even buy it for her and yes I even went as far as helping her to adminaster her drug of choice. My wife is extremly upset and has swore to me that she will make my life a living hell. She has told me that she will contact my family and tell them everything so that they will not want anything to do with me and she has promissed to call my employer and see to it that I loose my job. What can I do short of having to go back to her just so she doesn't destroy my life?
