Dear sir:
I''m considering a foreign divorce in Ecuador.
The reason is because I'm a dual national ( US/Ecuadorian) was married there, lived most of my life there, have local property and Ecuadorian laws favor the outcome.
As I have a property in Florida, how will the distribution of this asset be done AFTER I get the divorce abroad?

ArturoWhat is the name of your state?

That's a bit problematic. The Ecuadorian courts would not have jurisdiction over property located in the US. Most likely you would need to come to an agreement with your spouse, or involve the US courts.
