Hi,

We are in California. My estranged step-daughter is accused of damaging (keying) the automobile of an ex-boyfriend's guardian. My wife and I were served papers for each of us and one for my step daughter. We have no reason to believe that she did this. She is currently not communicating with us and we really do not know where she is residing. she was 17 at the time, is now 18. There were no witnesses who saw her do this. since she was not properly served (and there is no way for us to do so), what can we do at this point?

Thanks in advance!
