Disgruntled in Florida

Guest
I leased a car in November of last year. It turns out that the car had a slight defect in the paint on the rear quarter panel. I took the car back to the dealership and they told me that they would take care of it. The car has now been back to the dealership several times because they cannot seem to get the paint right. That section of the car is about to repainted for the fourth time. I have a real problem with all of this paint work, especially on a new vehicle. I want to know if I can get out of the lease because of this. Also, would I be able to get my down payment back?

My response:

Read the Florida "Lemon Law" and Opinions, here:
