I live in a small town in New Hampshire. Everyone knows everyone else around here. My brother once got into to trouble with a cop and two days later the cop came to my house because my mom hit me and left bruises. She also yelled at me.The cop said my mom was a nice and that she would never hurt. He said that by me telling him that made me selfish. He said all I wanted was attention.
My question is, Does he have the right to go by what she said and not by what I said?
And if my mom hurts me (like choaking me and punching me) what are my options?
