obtaining divorce in a foreign country (China)

What is the name of your state? Nevada
is authentication necessary for divorce documents to be sent to China? how about the spouses signature on the document. is this necessary if an authentication is done or can she affix her thumbmark when the divorce documents are sent to china?

spouse can barely speak english. she can only write in chinese characters.

Then she should sign her name the way that she always signs her name. If that is in Chinese characters, then that's fine.

is this legally valid? should she have her signature BEFORE doing the AUTHENTICATION or is it possible to have her sign AFTER the authentication is done here in nevada? thanks!
