What is the name of your state? TN
My divorce was in UT back in 1998. My ex-hus has not paid child support nor exercised his visitation in 7 years. My new husband wants to adopt my 13 year old son. I realize UT had jurisdiction for modifying our divorce. But do they still have it? I am looking to hire an atty that will terminate his rights before my husband can adopt. Which state takes care of that?
