What is the name of your state? New York
Hello. My father passed away last month. He left no will. The only assets he has is his home. I am applying for petition to become administrator right now. The house is all paid off he only has 2,000.00 in debts which will be paid off today. My question is my mother is also dead and i have one brother and we agree on everything (no hostility over estate) how can i get the deed/title transferred from my fathers name to our 1/2&1/2 names on deed or into my name solely (which my brother has no problem with). We wish to sell the house eventually but realize this cannot be done unless it is in my/our names. Thanks in advance for your time.

Rob
