What is the name of your state? TX
I recently got a ticket from Irving city police in TX.
there are three moving violations.
1.illegal lane changing.
2.no use of indicators while changing lanes.
3.no use of head lights.

I requested a plea for not guilty and will be getting a pre trial date pretty soon.
This is my first ticket and have no idea how to defend it.
I cant actually remember but my head lights were switched on or not when I was driving, when he pulled me instead on switching on the blinkers I might have switched off the head lights(not 100% sure but I always have my lights set to automatic).
I don't want them into my record and want to request a probation and get 2 violations removed (at least one of them)
Please suggest some defensive methods in the pretrial.
I have a clean record from almost 2 years and before that I was never in USA.

Thx,
Krishna

so can I actually get them converted to non moving violations?
Am I going to meet the prosecutor in the court at pretrial?

I'm willing to bet that with 3-banger such as this, they're not ALL going to be reduced...but what do I know?
