I am a therapist working for a large hospital corporation in a mid-sized city in Louisiana. The administrators at hospitals here call all/some of the other hospitals in the city and inquire about what they are paying their therapists. They then set therapists salaries at their hopsital based on this info. What results is the hospitals keep the salaries low. They are fixing salaries as a group, much like companies would get together and fix prices of a specific product. This does not seem fair or legal. Does anyone have any info or suggestions?
