Can you use digital adobe PDF's as evidence in CA taffic court?

Hello, I'm from Orange County in CA and want to fight a speeding ticket using lidar. Through a website I was able to get for free the operator's manual for the lidar gun that the LE agency was using when they clocked me. Now, I know there is inherent problems with just brining a copy in court. How do I go about authenticating the source as legitimate and using it as evidence in the traffic court. I also dont want to reveal I have this until the time of trial if possible. Doing so may change the testimony of the citing officer!

You will need to get a person to testify it is a true copy.

You can try to authenticate it through the cop.
