I need to know where I can find all the rules to becoming someone's partial guardian, or educational guardian. My friend is moving in with me this fall, and she will be a senior in high school. I am a college student. her parents are moving to Iowa, and she doesnt want to leave the state. the high school said that we needed to pursue something like a limited guardian ship or something for school, but I'm not sure if since I am a dependet if I would even qualify. what should we do?
