I beleive the legal guardian has embezzled money from the estate of individual he is guardian of. Guardian has not provided an accounting for past 4 years, has not paid dental bills, has not paid nursing home bills. How do you get the guardian investigated? He was court appointed and the judge already is aware that no accounting has been filed for 4 years, even though there is a court order stating guardian must file an accounting annually. Judge has ignored the court order and so has the guardian. Would the DA investigate or who would investigate this. Obviously the judical system ie judge doesn't care to follow court orders in this matter. What can be done legally to have this investigated? I don't think it will do any good to go back to the judge or the Surrogate court. Any suggestions besides the go hire an attorney. This is about the welfare of a senior citizen. Is there any place to turn who would investigate this free of charge ie government?

Thank you for your concern about a mistreated individual.

Your type of complaint might well be taken to the local police or if no satisfaction from them, your local congressman or senator. They have the power to intervene so that something can get done. It's sad that no one in the judicial division cares enough to take their responsibilities seriously. Also consider asking someone at Social Security Offices about this matter.
