Wrong registration

I got stopped for obstructing traffic along with many others today by the county police in my town. I just got a new car and still had my old car's registration. On mistake, I gave the old car's registration. On my ticket, one for obstructing traffic and another for an unregistered vehicle (due to handing him the wrong registration) my old car's information is written. Could this be a way to dismiss both tickets or at least the one for my 'unregistered vehicle.'
